5 Reasons Leaders Have Trouble Trusting Their Instincts

The NFL’s latest controversy, involving the New England Patriots and being called “Deflategate” by the media, has become much more than a debate around who knew what about the deflated footballs, when it happened and how should the Patriot’s ownership, management, coaches and players best handle the crisis at hand. Deflategate is another example of how leaders attempt to go about making the best decisions for the betterment of their team, their organization and depending on what their instincts tell them they should do based on past experiences and outcomes in similar situations.
